At Harvest Bible Chapel, our primary vehicle for building community is
our small groups. These groups meet weekly, three out of four weeks, in
host homes. The purpose of these groups is to minister to and encourage
one another in daily devotions, effective prayer and mutual
accountability and spiritual friendship. The emphasis is on the quality
of discipleship. A typical small group meeting consists of a praise and
prayer time, Bible study, mutual ministry time and fellowship. The biblical curriculum is common to all groups and is
usually based on the Sunday teaching. Meetings are about two hours in
length and held evenings.
